Who is responsible for your data
Section titled “Who is responsible for your data”JustGammon (available at justgammon.com) is developed and operated by Emanuel Boboiu, an individual developer based in Romania, acting as data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data we collect

Section titled “Account and authentication data”JustGammon uses a self-hosted identity provider (Keycloak) to manage accounts. Depending on how you sign in, this may include:
- Email address and password (if you register directly), or
- Basic profile information provided by a third-party sign-in provider (Google, Facebook, or Apple), if you choose to sign in that way.
Profile data
Section titled “Profile data”- Nickname
- Avatar image
- Country
Gameplay data
Section titled “Gameplay data”- Game history and results
- In-game statistics (e.g. pip count, dice averages, efficiency)
Communications
Section titled “Communications”- Messages you send in in-game chat with other players
- Bug reports you submit from within the app
- Messages you send via the contact/support channel
Technical data
Section titled “Technical data”- Session and authentication tokens needed to keep you signed in and to secure the game connection
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
Why we process your data
Section titled “Why we process your data”We process your data to:
- Create and manage your account and let you sign in
- Let you play games, track your history, and display statistics
- Enable chat between players during a game
- Respond to bug reports and support requests
- Maintain the security and integrity of the platform (e.g. preventing abuse)
The legal basis for this processing is performance of the contract with you (providing the game service you signed up for) and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the platform.
Who we share data with
Section titled “Who we share data with”- Identity providers: if you sign in via Google, Facebook, or Apple, those providers process the sign-in on their end according to their own privacy policies.
- Infrastructure providers: data is processed on hosting/email infrastructure necessary to run the service (e.g. sending account-related emails).
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How long we keep your data
Section titled “How long we keep your data”We retain account, profile, and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to retain it for legal or security purposes.
Your rights
Section titled “Your rights”Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Romania, the ANSPDCP)

Children’s privacy
Section titled “Children’s privacy”JustGammon is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without appropriate consent, please contact us so we can remove it.
